This site was originally entirely devoted to gathering together stories and memories from Mariners fans about the 1995 team. This year, I’ve also added in some interviews with people connected to the season. But my primary goal is still to collect the stories from fans. So if you’ve got a story you want to share, please send it to me at letters@1995mariners.com and I’ll put it up on the site. Anything related to the season is fair game: the comeback to win the division from the Angels, the incredible series against the Yankees, the loss to the Indians. Stories about off-field things like the strike, the rumors that the Mariners were moving to Tampa or some other city, and what you thought of the Kingdome are also welcome. Pictures, audio/video clips, and any memorabilia you might want to share with other fans will be gratefully accepted.
Donations are welcomed; they help support this site and cover the cost of hosting it on its own domain. You can make them with PayPal, with a check or money order, or with whatever else you might want to send. I do hope that any donation would be at least a couple dollars, because otherwise you’ll mostly be supporting eBay or the post office instead of this site. As a thank you, I can send each donor a file with all the stories and interviews on this site gathered together in one handy place. You can send a donation to me, Arne Christensen, by clicking the Paypal button to the right, or write to me at the letters@1995mariners.com address for any other kind of donation you’d like to make.
You can also become a fan of the site on its Facebook page, but so far I haven’t done much there but post notices of updates to the site.
